At the core of our mission at Larkr, we believe that everyone should be able to access mental health care services regardless of their location, income or racial/ethnic background. In the infographic below we uncover some statistics about which races in America are most likely to seek out mental health and for those who don’t some ideas of why they may not. Usually we have found that the resistance to using mental health services stems from either a stigma about it or a belief that it may be too expensive. While we can’t help life the stigma of mental health usage overnight, we have definitely gone to great lengths here at Larkr to make sure that therapy is as affordable as possible so that everyone can seek the professional help they need.

Approximately 50 million Americans experience mental illness each year, but nearly 60% go untreated. Take a step to end the suffering by seeking help from the comfort of your own home.
